Does the company employ qualified inspectors?

Our inspectors all have building and trade backgrounds and hold certificate IV in Building & Construction Management issued by the HIA.

Do you use approved timber pest inspectors?

We do. Our inspectors are also involved in on-going training to stay up to date with changes in the industry.

Do you use sub-contractors?

We don’t. All our inspectors have an interest in the company. If the company you employ uses sub-contractors and a problem arises you could find yourself dealing with two or more insurance companies.

Do you carry professional indemnity insurance?

We do, so you are fully covered in the event of a claim arising in relation to the inspection.

Do you give verbal reports only?

We give a verbal summary on the day of the inspection and a comprehensive, yet easy to understand, written report within twenty four hours. We do not give verbal only reports; be careful if another company offers this service at a discounted rate. The report will not be covered by insurance and may indicate a lack of insurance.

Are both inspections carried out at the same time?

We carry out both inspections simultaneously. A company that does not carry out both inspections together may be utilizing the services of sub-contractors in one or both of the inspections.
